Happy new week to you all. I do hope you had a restful weekend and that you got to spend time with family and or friends. Today’s post is a little highlight of what I did over the weekend. You all know how much I love a good deal and I cannot help but to share life-hacks and deals with you. I have bragged about the beauty of Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan and just how beneficial it is for me to have unlimited talk, text & data. This plan includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE and I get one free new release rental each month on VUDU- a $7 dollar on value for my line for $49.88. I definitely took advantage of the free movie option over the weekend when decided to host a little family movie night with a few family members.
No family movie night could be complete without snacks and treats. I do not get to see my family a lot due to my busy lifestyle so instead of watching a movie alone or just me and my guy, I thought why not invite others over. I’m telling you, I just love how this large data bucket helps to keep me entertained and that I could include my family too. Walmartis definitely my one stop shop.
I do not know about you but my family expect some munchies or treats when watching movies together. I knew I had to create a yummy little treat for them so I decided to make these yummy frozen Swedish Fish treats. I made a frozen Swedish Fish delight wrapped in greek yogurt and a Swedish Fish Trex mix.
Here’s how I made my Frozen greek yogurt Swedish Fish treats:
1 Bag Family Sized Swedish Fish- Red Variety 1.9lb – It has a new packaging but, New Look! Same Fish! it’s on n roll back at Walmart for $4.48 (I used 3/4 of it)
2 Cups of Greek Yogurt
2 Tbsp Ginger
Mix it all together in a bowl
Line a baking tray with foil
Add single or double Swedish Fish pockets on to tray
Place in freezer for at least 3 hours (you can also set these over night)
Serve chill and enjoy
My family enjoyed this so much and I was surprised they didn’t even realized it was greek yogurt. The Swedish Fish taste is just perfect for a recipe like this.
Next up is my Swedish Fish trail mix. I emptied a family size trail mix pack I had in my pantry, added the remaining 1/4 portion from what I used in the frozen treat, tossed it around and voila!!!
I got to choose the movie we were going to watch on VUDU and I felt it was right that we watched The Revenant. I knew my frozen treats would be the perfect set up for the movie.
Once we were all tucked in cozily on the floor, we proceeded to enjoy the movie together on VUDU, which we watched it on my SmartTV. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was so great that we all got to spend some time together thanks to this amazing plan. Not only did it amplify my entertainment but also allowed me the luxury of enjoying a lovely family movie night in my own home. What more could I have asked for?
I love this plan, for so many reasons, the perks are just phenomenal and totally adhere to my lifestyle. A new train line just opened in my city and I am highly considering taking the train to and from work most of the work week so that I can relax and enjoy the great features of my plan. I can stay up to date with all social media engagement and I also get to enjoy watching videos and really keeping up with technology and news of the world. Nothing is holding me back here, nothing.
This plan has many phone options at different price points for you to choose from. I chose the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (which is currently on Roll Back for $129.00 from $149.00) as my new phone. Yes please, I so love Walmart’s roll back prices. I go gaga over these types of deals. You will also need to purchase a starter kit, which also loves, is on roll back for the first time ever (until July 7th), for $19.88 from $25. A mean, hello!!! Rollback here, rollback there, rollback everywhere!.
Head to the entertainment section babes and you will find the phones and starter kit in that area. You can always ask an associate for help if you are having problems.

I had such a lovely time hanging and watching a good movie with some of my family and I cannot wait to do it again. Maybe I should host a movie night once per month, after all, I get one free one on VUDU through this plan.
