Fashion Island’s StyleweekOC With Simply Recap

Hi, Loves!

So, I have been meaning to share this post with you all for a while now. I figured I better get to it before this month ends. Last month, I had the privilege of attending Fashion Island’s  StyleweekOC with Simply. I love all of Simply’s events and workshops so when they asked me to sit on the home panel, it was a no brainer.

Styleweek OC was a two day event but I only attend the second day. You can see more of what went down both days on Simply website. I made my way down to Orange County, a 1.5 hour drive my Los Angeles and checked in to Island Hotel Newport Beach. This hotel is just so fab and has the perfect touch of chic and relaxation for their guests. After a good night’s rest, we began the next day for brunch at Fig and Olive. The food was absolutely delicious and filled with flavor. We enjoyed a mini runway show as we ate and mingled with old and new friends.

Once we were done serving our palate, we made our way over to Fashion Island where the event was held. Fashion Island is a shoppers dream- everything you want to make your life utterly fabulous is there.

The set up was absolutely beautiful and I am sure I wasn’t the only one who felt they were living in a Pinterest dream.

There were three panels; Fashion, Home, & Beauty. I sat on the home panel and we talked about home trends such as bringing outside life into your home, metallics, and furniture knobs. Oh, I so wish all of you were there. Not only was it a beautiful event but a wealth of fabulous and useful information was right at your fingertips from industry and your favorite bloggers. Audrina Partridge spoke on the Beauty Panel and Catt Sadler spoke on the Fashion Panel.

The last hour of the day I hosted an in store sip and shop for BCBG Max Ariza and it was so much fun. I talked fashion and style with shoppers, suggested pieces I thought would be amazing on them, and exchanged smiles and positive conversation. I enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was just so amazing and I have to say a big thank you to them and BCBG Max Ariza for dressing me in this fabulous dress, nude sandals, and beautiful necklace.

The best part, my girlfriends were visiting that weekend and I got to share this magical day with them and their husbands. I’m already looking forward to next year and you should too. Keep you eyes glue on Simply’s website for all things fabulous. They’re now offering online sessions so you can access all their goodness from anywhere around the world.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I hope you take from it that there are plenty of events that might be happening in your city that could be of great resource for you all. Sometimes, it’s just about getting out there and meeting new people. This event was attend by mostly people shopping around Fashion Island going about their day. The tickets were free and many people got to take home goodie bags.

Have a great week.

xoxo
