Fashion is a form of art and is expressed differently by everybody. My favorite thing about clothing is developing a personal style and letting originality shine through. That being said, we fashionistas all have a few things in common. They are the bread and butter of every outfit and are a staple in some of your favorite influencers’ wardrobes. Let me let you in on some secrets; these are some of the top items most fashionistas have in their closet.
First up is your classic Chanel Mini Flap Bag, maybe not this exact one but something along the lines. I personally own a big similar to this one, and I love it. The puff texture is a Chanel classic and goes with almost every look. These kinds of bags are great for everyday use or a classic mini bag look for a special occasion.
The famous Hermes Clic Clac Bracelet is a fashion favorite, maybe the most perfect accessory there is. This piece is elegant, glamorous, subtle, and absolutely stunning. Stacking jewelry is always a great way to achieve a fashion-forward look, and it’s better to invest in pieces that are diverse in wear. That is one thing all fashionistas have in common if they buy something, they’re going to get their use out of it.
Skims has taken the fashion world by its neck. All of the items she puts out are flattering on all body types, which the fashion industry can take notes on. My favorite items are the Fits Everybody Bodysuits in a high and square neck. These are the base for any outfit, whether a casual day of errands or a night out with friends. The form-fitting material is so flattering and does the job of two weeks at the gym in the form of a bodysuit.
The Hermes Oran Sandals have been leading the way in the fashion world for a while now, which is impressive. A shoe that is so simple but so cute at the same time. Let me tell you, these babies not only look the part but feel it, seriously so comfortable. These are great for every day paired with some jeans and a simple t-shirt or complement the perfect summer dress. A great vacation shoe, to say the least.
Talk about smelling like a million bucks! This Parfums de Marly is by far one of the best perfumes out there and is the secret fashionistas that have been gatekeeping. The scent is inspired by young french ladies soaking their handkerchiefs in dew to moisturize their faces during the 18th century. A scent that is truly one-of-a-kind to go with your one-of-a-kind outfits.
Finally, we have the Lack of Colors Rancher Hat, and you don’t need to be a cowboy to rock this piece. This might not be a go-to like some other pieces, but nonetheless a good one. I love wearing mine in the summer to help shade away the sun. A fashionista tip is to always think of every possible option to accessorize; this can take a look to a whole new level.
