How I Achieve Radiance Through A Positive Lifestyle

Hope you are all having a fabulous day today. I wanted to pop in and talk skin care with you, but from a place of action. If you've read my blog for a while, or follow me on social media, you know how into skincare I am. For me, it's not only about the outward appearance, it is also on the inside. I strongly believe that practices in our daily lives help achieve skincare beyond the application of  products. Products are great and they are a must have; one of my favorite being Aveeno®. I learned about their Positively Radiant® line and I was inspired to write this post. 
When I think of what makes me positively radiant, I think about the things I do that are good for me and also make me happy. Good + Happy= Radiant. See, there are things that are good for me but honestly they don't make me happy, and then there are things that makes me happy, but aren't good for me. Those I 'll omit form this post and only focus on Good + Happy= Radiant. 

1. Hot Baths: This something I wish I practice more often. A hot bath and time spent playing in bubbles really gives me peace and makes me happy. I love applying lavender salts to my bath for a relaxing evening. I can quickly apply Aveeno® Positively Radiant 60 Second In Shower Facial,   Exfoliating Body Wash, and finish off with the Body Lotion. I'm beaming with radiance after that. It's the feeling of spending time with my self and caring for my body.
2. Sage: On Sundays, I enjoying staying home, relaxing and burning sage to help improve my cognition. My brain is always in overdrive. I pretty much work everyday but I try to find time on Sundays to relax my mind and prepare for the new week. This brings some calm and zen. 3. Eating Fruits: Consuming a lot of fruits. There is so much information and recommendations out there about which fruits to eat and how much we should eat. For me, I eat the ones I enjoy and I always feel good. Good in the sense that I am relaxed in my body and this shows on my skin and presence, positively radiating. 
4. Sleep: If there was one thing to be told about me, is that I love my sleep. I need at minimum seven hours although, prefarably 10 hours. Yes, I can sleep for 10 hours however, life does not offer me that luxury, because of this thing called work. Heheh!
I do find though, whenever I get enough sleep, I'm at my best. I feel positive, vibrant and, it shows on me. I make my way out of the house feeling positively radiant every morning when I've gotten a good rest the night before. Oh, don't forget sunscreen, even during the winter.
